No. Epherware cutlery is engineered with high-compression molding and a food-safe water-based coating. It remains rigid in hot soups and gravies (up to 85°C) for over 45 minutes, ensuring a premium experience without collapsing.
Does the cutlery have a woody taste or rough texture?
Unlike wooden cutlery, which can taste like sawdust and feels rough on the tongue, our paper cutlery is ultra-smooth, odorless, and tasteless. It ensures your customers taste the food, not the spoon.
Can I print my logo on the cutlery?
Yes, we offer full Private Labeling. We can print your logo on the handle using vegetable-based food-safe ink, or we can customize the paper wrapper/pouch with your brand design.
Is this cutlery truly biodegradable and compostable?
Yes. Our products are 100% plastic-free and PLA-free. They are made from natural fibers and are fully compostable, breaking down naturally in standard composting conditions within 90-180 days.
What is the shelf life of paper cutlery in storage?
When stored in a cool, dry environment, our paper cutlery has a shelf life of 2 years. Our packaging is designed to protect the products from humidity during warehousing.
Is the cutlery microwave or freezer safe?
Our cutlery is Freezer Safe (perfect for ice creams and frozen yogurt) and does not become brittle. It is generally not recommended for microwave use as it is designed for serving, not cooking.
